Many ancient traditions present dualities- black and white, yin and yang, good and evil, right and wrong.
I don’t think things are as rigid. I feel that every other shade and colour and reason and shape counts. We cannot simplify why people think what they think or do what they do. Or why the world is this way and not that way. It cannot be deducted to a single conclusive reason based on complete consensus.
Some have a moral compass and others don’t. This doesn’t mean they aren’t wrong; they just think differently.
In our personal opinions, we can judge one or self as right or wrong, but it is all based on how we grew up, the environment we live in, and how we believe is the way things should be. But life isn’t that simple.
What is simple – where these dualities come in place – is how you approach the concept. You go with it or go against it. You accept it or try to change it. That is the duality.
