If I was an alien who came to Earth to see it for the first time, my eyes would be exposed to countless treasures. I’d see human civilization that cared to uncover, discover, study, and preserve the history that came before it. I’d see acres of forests being bought by rich people – not to exploit it – but to protect it. I’d see laws and regulations serving to care for natural wildlife and the parks in which they reside. I’d see a decrease in violence throughout time. I’d see beings that come together to clean up a city. I’d see people walking around the street giving food to homeless. I’d see humans allowing themselves to be experimented on to raise a voice against animal testing. I’d see people putting their lives in the line of danger to save children from human rights violations. I’d see all this and so much more love. This world is not an evil place when we all come together and bring about love. If you’re going to be proud of something, let it not be your celibacy, your education, your religion, or your status in society. If you’re going to be proud of something, be proud of what you can accomplish in unity. That is what could make an alien’s eyes sparkle.
